Hello

I'm building this for
friends who freelance

Three of my closest friends freelance on the side. Every single one has a story about doing the work, sending the final files, and then waiting weeks (sometimes months) for the payment to actually land. Delivra is what I wish they'd had.

The problem

Freelancing shouldn't mean working for free

You do the work, you send the files, and then you spend the next two months pinging the client and refreshing your inbox. There has to be a better way.

๐Ÿ“

Scope creep

The project quietly doubles in size. The original agreement said 'a website,' but now there are five rounds of revisions, a logo, and a content strategy doc. None of it was priced in.

๐Ÿ’ธ

Invoices that ghost you

You send the deliverables, the client says thanks, and then nothing. Two weeks. Three. You start drafting the gentle reminder email for the fourth time.

๐Ÿงฉ

Five tools, zero connection

Files in Dropbox. Invoices in some Stripe dashboard you forgot to bookmark. Scope in a Google Doc that's six versions out of date. Chat in email and WhatsApp. Nothing talks to anything.

How it works

One link. Everything in one place.

You and your client work from the same page. Files, scope, invoices, messages, all sitting next to each other and gated by payment.

01

Write down what you agreed to

Add scope items to your project. Lock them when the client signs off. After that, anything new becomes a 'change order,' clearly labelled and separate from the original deal.

02

Upload your work, attach to invoices

Files attached to an invoice stay locked until that invoice is paid. No payment, no download. The client can see the file is there, they just can't grab it yet.

03

Send the invoice

Pick your line items, set a due date, hit send. Your client pays through Stripe directly from their portal. You see the fee breakdown before you send, so there are no surprises in your bank account.

04

Share one link with your client

Every project gets its own portal. Your client opens the link, sees the scope, sees the invoices, sends you a message if they need to. They don't need to make an account.

05

They pay, files unlock

The moment payment clears, the file becomes downloadable. The scope locks on first payment too, so the project boundary becomes official.

About me

Just me. Not a startup.

I work in tech as a product manager. I don't have a team, there's no investor in the background, and I'm building Delivra in evenings and on weekends. I started this because I got tired of watching friends do incredible work and then spend weeks (sometimes months) chasing the payment that never came.

The idea is simple. A freelancer's leverage shouldn't disappear the moment they hand over the file. So in Delivra, the file and the invoice are linked, and the file stays locked until the invoice gets paid. That's it. That's the whole thing.

I take 3% on payments that go through the platform. No subscription, no monthly fees, no upselling you to a fancier tier. If you don't get paid, I don't get paid.
